Cost of Female Infertility Treatment

We know that when you are planning your fertility journey, understanding the costs involved is one of your biggest concerns. At Ferty9, we believe in 100% transparency. Our goal is to provide you with the most advanced and effective treatments at an affordable cost, with no hidden charges.

This guide will help you understand the different costs associated with female infertility treatment, from initial tests to advanced procedures.

What Factors Influence the Cost of Treatment?

The cost of fertility treatment is not one single price. It is a journey with different steps, and the final cost depends entirely on your unique medical needs.

  1. The Cause of Infertility: The reason for your infertility is the biggest factor. For example, simple ovulation induction with medication is far less expensive than IVF for blocked fallopian tubes.
  2. The Type of Treatment: Costs are tiered. The journey may involve simple medication, a minor surgical procedure, IUI, or advanced treatments like IVF.
  3. The Number of Cycles: Some treatments, like IUI or IVF, may require more than one attempt for success.
  4. Required Medications: The cost of hormonal injections and other supportive medicines can vary.
  5. Advanced Technologies: If your treatment requires genetic testing (PGTA) or other advanced lab techniques, this will add to the total cost.

A Transparent Breakdown of Treatment Costs at Ferty9

We have broken down the costs based on the different phases of treatment you might experience. All prices are transparent, so you can plan your finances with confidence.

Phase 1: Initial Diagnosis and Consultation

This is the most important first step to understand your fertility. The cost is minimal and provides a clear roadmap for your treatment.

  • New Consultation: ₹500
  • Follow-up Consultation: ₹600

Your doctor will then suggest only the tests necessary for your specific case. Key diagnostic tests include:

  • Scan – Follicle Tracking: ₹1,000
  • Early Pregnancy Scan: ₹1,500
  • Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) Test: (The main test for your egg reserve) ₹2,000
  • SIS (Saline Infusion Sonography): (To check the inside of the uterus) ₹3,500
  • Basic Hormone Tests: (Like TSH, FSH, LH, Prolactin) ₹350 – ₹600 per test

Phase 2: Basic Fertility Treatments (IUI)

For many couples, Insemination (IUI) is a highly effective and affordable first-line treatment. This process involves placing healthy sperm directly into the uterus at the time of ovulation.

  • IUI (Intrauterine Insemination): ₹8,000
  • IUI – 2 Days: ₹10,000

(Please note: The cost of ovulation-stimulating medications is separate.)

Phase 3: Surgical Procedures (Hysteroscopy)

Sometimes, a minor surgical procedure is needed to correct an issue inside the uterus, such as polyps, fibroids, or scar tissue. We use a minimally invasive camera-based procedure called Hysteroscopy.

  • Hysteroscopy (Diagnostic): ₹35,000
  • Hysteroscopy – Adhesiolysis (Removing scar tissue): ₹45,000

Phase 4: Advanced ART (IVF) & Related Procedures

When IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) is the recommended path, the costs involve the main cycle plus any advanced technologies needed to ensure the highest chance of success.

  • FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer): (Using a previously frozen embryo) ₹49,500
  • Intra Uterine PRP: (To improve the uterine lining) ₹3,500

Advanced Lab Techniques:

  • Microfluidics: (Advanced sperm selection technique) ₹15,000
  • PGTA: (Genetic testing of an embryo to ensure it’s healthy) ₹25,000

Fertility Preservation (Freezing):

  • Embryo Freezing: ₹25,000
  • Semen Freezing: ₹6,000
