What is hysteroscopy?

Hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical method that allows visualisation and evaluation of the inside of the uterus. It involves inserting a hysteroscope (a thin, flexible catheter with a camera and a light source) through the vagina and cervix into the uterus.
