Is uterine TB contagious?

Uterine tuberculosis (TB) is not directly communicable. However, uterine tuberculosis occurs when tuberculosis bacteria from other parts of the body, most notably the lungs, move to the reproductive organs via the bloodstream or lymphatic system. This indicates that uterine tuberculosis is caused by bacteria spreading internally rather than through sexual or close physical contact with others.
