Can I drink coffee or tea after an IVF transfer?

IVF
I'm a huge chai lover but I just completed my IVF embryo transfer and I'm trying to be extremely cautious. Is it safe to have my usual morning cup of tea or coffee, or should I completely cut out caffeine to improve the chances of a successful pregnancy? ~ Nirmala Kamma, 36 Yrs

Yes, but in moderation. It is recommended to limit your caffeine intake to less than 200 mg per day, which is about one small cup of coffee or two cups of tea. Excessive caffeine may interfere with the embryos ability to implant successfully. Switching to herbal infusions or fresh fruit juices is a wonderful way to stay hydrated while ensuring your system remains in the most receptive state for embryo attachment success.
